Bach and Shostakovich at Ridotto

For our Bach series the Conservatorio Frescobaldi has arranged two unmissable concerts focusing on the Well tempered clavier.

The first one will be on sunday 28 November at 10:30 at Teatro Comunale.

The students of the conservatory will play Bach’s masterpiece as well as some of its transcriptions for strings by Mozart, and will compare it to the 24 Preludes and Fugues op. 87 by Shostakovich.
